Located along the Animas River in Hermosa Valley, JW Durango Riverside Resort has 24 cabin rentals from rustic to contemporary.
Durango Cabin Rentals: Pet Friendly and River Views
At JW Durango Resort, we offer a variety of cabin rentals – from traditional log-style to contemporary. We have several riverfront cabins that face the beautiful Animas River. We are in Hermosa Valley, just a few miles from the edge of the San Juan National Forest.
Guests love our prime location and on-site amenities including a swimming pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day), playground, dog park, Café, large deck, community firepit, game room and camp store. (Dev note: link “amenities” to the Amenities page)
When you need to stay connected, we have free low-speed WiFi throughout the park. If you need to work or stream shows, you can upgrade to high-speed WiFi for a fee.
Each cabin includes one parking spot, but there is some overflow parking available. We have a gravel lot off property for trailers and off-road vehicles. Please keep in mind that parking is limited. If you have additional parking needs beyond one vehicle, it must be booked beforehand. (If booking online, include information in the notes section.)
We do not offer daily housekeeping, but there is a coin-operated laundry facility where you can wash the linens and towels provided.

Cabin rates include 2 adults and 2 children. Additional person fees apply. Check-in at 2pm, Check-out at 11am.
Most of our cabins are pet-friendly, and we have a few pet-free options. There is a pet fee of $7/per pet/per night.
First-night deposit is required at the time of booking. There is a $35 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 7 days, you forfeit the deposit.
One-Room Rustic Cabins, Sleeps 4 (Pet Friendly)
When you like to keep your travel simple, our rustic cabins provide basic comforts. There is no bathroom or running water, but we have two bathhouses on property. Linens and towels are not provided, but linen and bath packages are available for a fee. (Must reserve the package in advance.) Please note: The beds have camping mattresses that are thinner than a traditional mattress. These cabins are especially popular with hunters and anglers.

One-Room Riverfront Glamping Cabins, Sleeps 2 (Pet Friendly & Pet Free Options)
These cozy Glamping Cabins support a comfortable night’s rest while enjoying a riverfront camping experience. We supply bedding and towels for this cabin, however there is no restroom in the unit. There are two bathhouses on the property. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch while soaking up views of the Animas River.
We have seven One-Room Riverfront Glamping Cabins. Site numbers G9-G15 on our park map. Two are designated Pet Free.

When you desire more privacy, these cozy two-room Glamping Cabins offer a bedroom and separate seating area. We supply bedding and towels for this cabin, however there is no restroom in the unit. There are two bathhouses on the property.

Similar to our other Glamping Cabins, these offer gorgeous views of the Animas River. The Riverfront Deluxe Glamping Cabins also include a kitchenette and bathroom.

Modern and well-appointed, these cabins have a bedroom, seating area, and a winding staircase to a loft with two futon mattresses. There’s also a kitchenette and bathroom.

These contemporary cabins overlook the Hermosa Valley and Missionary Ridge. They have a living area, kitchen and bathroom. We have two units of this cabin type, but the layout for each is slightly different.
One of the cabins has a King bed with an accordion door separating it from the living area. The other cabin has a Queen bed in a separate bedroom. (If booking online, include in the notes which you prefer and we will try to accommodate your request.)
